Manomet is pleased to announce that Dr. Molly Jacobs will be our next Vice President for Environmental Education and Outreach. With more than 20 years of experience as a scientist and educator spanning both K-12 and higher education, Molly will lead Manomet’s efforts to grow our education and outreach efforts regionally in southeastern Massachusetts and throughout the Western Hemisphere. Dr. Jacobs will begin at Manomet on Monday, June 7, 2021.

“I am excited to welcome Dr. Molly Jacobs to Manomet,” says President Elizabeth (Lizzie) Schueler. “I believe that Molly’s passion for science and education will help us maximize our 50 plus year history in science-based conservation. Her portfolio will include managing the research at our Plymouth headquarters including the bird banding lab, as well as diversifying and expanding our educational programming in southeastern Massachusetts and beyond. Education is one of our best tools to create long-term change and I look forward to her applying her vast knowledge, energy and creativity to Manomet.”
