Lisa Maciejowski

Lisa Maciejowski has joined our Development Department as Development Assistant. An entrepreneurial fundraiser, she has created educational Donor Roundtables, launched Women’s Leadership Giving initiatives, and designed Foundation Trustee luncheons. As a former Senior Gift Officer, Lisa raised critical resources for human service organizations, museums, educational institutions, and ocean-related causes.

She earned her B.A. in Liberal Arts/Management from Providence College and a Master’s degree in Holistic Counseling from Salve Regina University. Her prior long-term career was in Property Casualty Insurance. Now semi- retired, Lisa enjoys oil painting, walking the beaches and bogs of Plymouth, traveling in the U.S. and Europe, fiber arts, whales and great white sharks, plus she frequently visits her son in Brooklyn, NY.  Hailing from a family of bird watchers, her favorites are ducks, the Snowy Owl, and Rose Breasted Grosbeak.  Lisa is thrilled to join Manomet and be part of a team that makes a global impact.

Jeisson Zamudio

Jeisson joined Manomet’s Flyway Program in October 2023 as the Pacific South America Coordinator with the goal of supporting the implementation of the Pacific Americas Shorebird Conservation Strategy in Chile, Perú, Ecuador, and Colombia by building effective partnerships with local stakeholders and identifying linkages with national shorebird conservation plans in these countries.

Jeisson is a Colombian biologist from the Universidad del Valle who worked for more than 15 years with Asociación Calidris on various projects with shorebirds, seabirds, and endangered bird species in the Andes. During this time, he gained experience working with a wide range of stakeholders including communities, NGOs, governments, and the private sector. He has written conservation plans for threatened species and is the author of the Seabird Baseline Management Plan for Gorgona National Natural Park. He also led the design of a carbon-based project to support the implementation of conservation plans in the Andes.

Thomasina Cole

Thomasina has been our Human Resources Business Partner/Consultant since April 2022. She is a SHRM Certified Professional with over 20 years of combined experience in HR operations, data analytics, team onboarding, staff development, marketing coordination, and project management. As a HR Business Partner she helps companies develop best practice solutions in full compliance with all industry, regulatory and corporate policies, and procedures.

She graduated from Temple University and is currently completing an MBA in Human Resource Management. For over 20 years Thomasina built a career in financial services. During this time, she worked for Fortune 500 companies Xerox and Amazon where she started her Human Resources career.

Thomasina was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She relocated to New England in 2005 with her husband and two sons. She enjoys music, cooking, baking, and any opportunity for family time.

Jeanne O’Rourke

Jeanne O’Rourke is a brand marketing, communications, and creative professional with extensive experience in setting vision and strategy in venerable mission-driven Massachusetts nonprofit organizations, including the Harvard Museum of Natural History, the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, Walnut Hill School for the Arts, and The Trustees of Reservations. She earned her BA in English at Tufts University and has told the stories of countless interesting and impactful individuals and institutions through video, photo, and the written and designed word. Topics have run the gamut from culture and conservation, and included subjects both large (a 42-foot long, 100 million year-old Kronosaurus) and small (bees!)

Throughout her career, she’s been lucky to work with, and learn from, talented colleagues in every professional realm, including scientists, horticulturists, and artists. When she’s not working, she’s reading on the bay side of North Truro, enjoying her family patio, or planning her next travel adventure. Jeanne recently inherited her dad’s treasured binoculars and looks forward to using them (and her professional skills) at Manomet.

 

Sudeshna Chatterjee, Ph.D.

Sudeshna serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice at Manomet. A scholar-practitioner in human rights, inclusive governance, and gender/racial justice, she comes to Manomet from the Town of Reading, where she served as the inaugural Director of Equity and Social Justice. Prior to her role in Reading, Sudeshna was engaged as a certified diversity researcher and outreach associate at Opus Search Partners, an executive search firm for higher education and academic medicine.

Sudeshna has a background in academic research and teaching and specializes in social justice-oriented community education and engagement, inclusive culture-building, and change management strategies. She has served as adjunct faculty in several Boston-area institutions such as Babson College and Lesley Universities, and continues to actively publish, present, and engage with several academic and public conferences and professional networks such as National Women’ Studies Association, International Studies Association and Boston University’s Anti Racism Research Affiliate Network and the Massachusetts DEI Coalition.
