Join us on Saturday, October 14th, and be a part of Manomet’s Bird-a-Thon—a 24-hour birding extravaganza that contributes to bird research and conservation!
This bird walk is hosted by the South Shore Bird Club and led by Bonnie Tate. The bird species observed will contribute to Manomet’s Bird-a-Thon goal of 400 species in 24 hours! Registration is required.
Meet at the parking lot near Powder Point Bridge guard house. Continuing fall migrants and early wintering waterfowl should be present. We will make our way down the bay and then cross over and come back along the ocean. We will also check the fields across from Blakeman’s for early Horned Larks and Lapland Longspurs!
For more info, contact Bonnie Tate at 860-287-9925 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Parking: There is a large parking lot by the guard house following Powder Point Bridge.
