Join Manomet Conservation Sciences and the Friends of Monomoy for a bird walk at the Morris Island (mainland) section of Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge!

This walk is a part of the 2025 Massachusetts Shorebird Blitz —a week-long event where participants conduct shorebird surveys throughout the state. Liana DiNunzio, Manomet’s Shorebird Biologist, will lead the group and provide a unique opportunity to learn about Monomoy’s importance to migrating shorebirds while collecting important data that will inform future shorebird conservation efforts. In addition to shorebirds, we will also be on the lookout for any other wildlife that call the Refuge home. Whether you are a seasoned birder or completely new to shorebird identification, we hope you will join us!
