Join us this summer and fall as Evan Dalton, Manomet’s Lead Instructor of Landbird Conservation, takes you through an all-inclusive birders’ workshop series! These introductory courses will teach you the basics you’ll need in your birding endeavors for the season, from shorebirds to sparrows. You won’t want to miss these!

Bills, feathers, migration… birds have a dazzling array of adaptations that enable them to live almost everywhere. A basic understanding of bird biology is key to becoming a birder. This course will utilize Manomet’s teaching collection to cover the basics of bird anatomy (i.e. bills and feathers), bird behavior and life histories. Besides learning how incredible birds really are, you’ll also come away better prepared to recognize the traits that make each species unique.

Cost is $25 per class.
