Join us for a thrilling game of Shorebird Trivia with Manomet Conservation Sciences’ Mass Young Birders program in collaboration with the Tybee Island Spring Shorebird Festival! This month, we will be highlighting all of the amazing work happening on the coast of Georgia and the shorebirds that call this special place home. The Georgia coast hosts more than 300,000 shorebirds throughout the year. Grab a beverage of your choice, tune in with dinner, loop in your family and friends, and buckle in for a fun, feather-focused evening.

Some of these birds travel thousands of miles to rest and refuel on our shores, while other species rely on our beaches to raise their chicks. Shorebirds are incredible travelers, but their story is also fragile. Populations are declining, and protecting the places they rely on takes both big-picture collaboration and local action. During trivia night, we will spotlight these birds, the Georgia Bight Shorebird Conservation Initiative, and ways you can help protect them.

We will also premiere a brand-new short PSA film focused on the Georgia coast, created for beachgoers visiting our shores this season. The film shares simple, meaningful ways everyone can help protect shorebirds while enjoying the beach.

Registration is required and closes at 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 19. A Zoom link will be emailed to all registered participants before trivia begins.
