This presentation will explore habitat management strategies and bird use across a variety of managed and natural habitats. The LMAV is a critical region for wintering and migrating waterbirds, yet ongoing landscape-level changes continue to challenge waterbird populations.

Through applied research, science-based management, conservation incentive programs, and strong regional partnerships, we are working to create, enhance, and restore meaningful acres across the LMAV- ensuring the availability of essential resources needed to sustain diverse waterbird populations into the future.
