Join Manomet Conservation Sciences for a fun, welcoming morning of birding as part of our 52nd Annual Christmas Bird Count. Whether you’re a brand-new birder, a curious visitor, or someone who’s always wanted to take part but wasn’t sure where to begin, this is the perfect chance to jump in!

Drop by anytime between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM to help spot and tally birds from Manomet’s bluff or by enjoying a Feeder Watch from our historic teahouse. Feeder Watches have long been a core part of Christmas Bird Counts, and pairing them with our bluff lookout gives us both comfort and a spectacular winter vantage point to enjoy together.

Throughout the morning, we’ll share a bit of Christmas Bird Count history and celebrate the incredible dedication of Trevor Lloyd-Evans, Manomet’s Senior Fellow, who has organized the Plymouth count for more than fifty consecutive years.

A Manomet team member will be stationed on the bluff to welcome visitors, answer questions, and keep track of species and participation numbers. Stay for five minutes or for the full four hours—everyone is welcome.

Come enjoy stunning views, cozy teahouse birding, great company, and a meaningful way to contribute to science. We hope to see you there!
