The season of giving

Tuesday, November 28, marked the sixth annual Giving Tuesday – a worldwide event that encourages people to give back by supporting the causes important to them and unite around the common goal of making our world a better place. Giving Tuesday traditionally marks the beginning of the holiday giving season, an important time of year for nonprofits like Manomet.

Here at Manomet, we are grateful for a dedicated network of supporters that helps create positive change and shares our vision of building a more sustainable world. This is the time of year when we count on them to renew their support and help us start the New Year with momentum.

Our generous donors have helped make 2017 terrific. Thanks to their support, we’ve added millions of acres of land to our Climate Smart Land Network; expanded our WHSRN shorebird reserve network to 100 geographically important locations; hosted the first-ever U360 Business Sustainability Student Competition; added new staff to expand our work in fisheries; and traveled to Jerusalem to collaborate and share ideas on science education and conservation. And those are just a few of the things we were able to accomplish in 2017 thanks to those who support us!

As we look ahead to the New Year, there is so much more we want to do, and so much more that needs to be done to create a more sustainable future. But, we can’t do it without you. Please consider supporting Manomet with a year-end, tax-deductible gift. Your support makes it possible for us to tackle the complex problems and challenges we face the Manomet way – by building relationships, establishing trust, and putting science to use.

With you, we can make our world a measurably better place. Please take a moment to make a tax-deductible gift to Manomet before December 31, and help us work toward a more sustainable world.

Thank you and Happy Holidays!
