The Manomet Center welcomed two new trustees – Nancy Dempze and Jeffrey Peters – to its board last month.

Dempze is a partner at Hemenway & Barnes in Boston where she focuses her practice on wealth transfer planning, charitable giving and trust and estate administration. She is also a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and an Overseer of the Museum of Science.

Peters is managing director and head of global institutional distribution at Columbia Management. Peters has been a member of the investment community since 1987 and previously served as senior managing director and head of international business at Putnam Investments. He is a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of the Massachusetts Audubon Society. He also raised $20M for rainforest conservation in Asia via a carbon credit trading fund.

“We are excited to welcome these two exceptional new trustees,” said Dean Steeger, the chairman of the Board of Trustees. “Their vision and experience will keep driving Manomet to develop cutting-edge programs and solutions.”
