Manomet Event: Profiting With A Purpose: Investing In The 21st Century

$143 trillion—that’s the approximate total global value of managed financial assets.  Every year this enormous financial force shapes our world and lays the foundation for what the next generation will inherit.  Could this huge lever be used to create a 21st century economy that sustains and improves the conditions that support life, rather than undermine them?

Please join Manomet President John Hagan and Sustainable Economies Program Director Andrew Whitman in a conversation about the game-changing potential of incorporating sustainability into institutional investing.  In particular, Hagan and Whitman will zoom in on agriculture, one of the fastest growing asset classes.  Why is it growing?  Because investors increasingly appreciate that one thing everyone must do is eat.  And with an anticipated population of 9 billion in 2050, investment in agriculture is a very safe bet indeed.

There are two chances to be a part of this discussion--one in Plymouth and one in Boston. Both events are free, but registration is required.
