Lisa Schibley

Information Associate, WHSRN Executive Office

Lisa joined Manomet in 2008 as a Database Specialist and Technical Assistant for the Western Hemisphere Shorebird Reserve Network (WHSRN).


She provides technical support for Manomet's shorebird scientists, maintains the WHSRN website and database, undertakes mapping projects, runs research reports for WHSRN partners and manages data for WHSRN conservation plans.


Lisa holds an M.S. in Physics from the University of Arizona, and her background is in numerical analysis. While living in Arizona, she was an avid birder, coordinated the Tucson Christmas Bird Count and led field trips for the Tucson Audubon Society.


After graduating with her M.S., she did data and image analysis on LIDAR systems for Arete Associates before helping to start a business with her future husband doing numerical analysis on ratings and viewing habits in public television. 


She now lives in Manomet with her husband Jak and their two boys.  In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, running and traveling.
