She presents community workshops on gardening for wildlife using the Ernst Garden as an example of sustainable landscaping practices. She is currently continuing her education in Native Plant Studies at New England Wildflower Society. Kim also joined the administrative staff at Manomet in 2007, and she provides clerical support wherever it is needed.

She recently won a third place prize in a Horticulture magazine photo contest for a lovely photo she took of the tea house in Manomet's Ernst Garden.
