Cheryl Botieri

Vice President of Mission Advancement

Cheryl Botieri joined Manomet in October 2014 as our Director of Communications and was named Vice President of Mission Advancement in May 2017. She described her first couple days in headquarters with a feeling that she has “come home.”  As a young girl, Cheryl lived right around the corner from Manomet, where she skated on our cranberry bogs and visited our banding lab as a fourth grade student while attending Manomet Elementary School.  Years later she returned as a chaperone for her children’s field trips from Duxbury Elementary schools.

Cheryl has over 30 years of experience in communications, community development and family education.  Prior to coming to Manomet , Cheryl was the Vice President of Mission Advancement for the South Shore YMCA where she was responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of the organization’s mission re-positioning, re-branding and all of their financial development programs.

Chery earned her BS Degree in Communications from Bridgewater State College and her MS Degree in Family Education from Wheelock College.

Cheryl enjoys time with family and living an active outdoor lifestyle, especially walking, cycling and being out on the local bays.
