Manomet's 8,000 square-foot office building houses our administrative and program offices, conference rooms, computer labs and libraries. The "Old Building," once the summer home of the Ernst family of Boston, dates back to 1896. It stands guard at the edge of the bluff, providing critical habitat for a number of Manomet activities including bird banding, specialized commuity outreach and events, and intern housing.

In 1991, Manomet acquired the 20 acre neighboring Holmes Farm, bringing Manomet's land holdings up to 40 acres and adding an unspoiled 1840 New England farmhouse and two barns to our facilities. The Holmes Farm property provides Manomet with the exciting possibility of improving our public programming and training facilities in the future.

If you've been to Manomet, you know that it becomes home to all who work, study or even visit here for any length of time. The property's intrinsic beauty keeps us close to our mission and offers a nurturing environment for uncovering and discovering the world around us.
